Our client, a major law firm, is looking for a Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team!

- Salary from $58K to $65K depending on experience

Your profile:

- At least 3 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant
- Professional diploma (DEP) or college diploma (DEC) in office administration with a legal specialization
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent grammar

Language Requirements: English
- Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
- Reasons for Language Requirement: Communications with offices across Canada
- Frequency of Use: Daily

Your role:

- Assist lawyers and partners with their litigation-related activities.
- Coordinate and manage task planning based on imposed deadlines.
- Proofread, reformat, and adapt various legal documents, such as correspondence, contracts, and procedures.
- Draft documents based on dictations.
- Compile and organize electronic binders for procedures, exhibits, legal references, and closing files.
- Develop and prepare documents necessary for billing and time tracking.
- Follow up on client accounts and outstanding payments.
- Provide general administrative support in the management of legal files.
