Associate Attorney – Commercial LitigatorPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 8+ years of experience in commercial litigation to join an exciting and driven elite boutique litigation firm. Partnership track option. Team atmosphere.Responsibilities:Handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters.Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.Take contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression, derivative proceedings, property-related disputes, etc. to court.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia.4+ years of experience in commercial litigation (contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression, derivative proceedings, property-related disputes, etc.).Strong academic credentials; clerkship a plus.Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Experience with big law firms preferred.Compensation and Benefits:Salary commensurate with experience.Bonus options based on salary structure.How to Apply:Interested candidates should apply directly to this post or submit a resume to shannon.flower@gogpac.com (always confidential).
